We are so grateful to Truline Industries, John and Noreen DeSantis, First Merit Bank – Mentor, Habitat for Humanity of Lake County, Lake Health, The Sadar Group, Justine Ovsenik, French Chiropractic and Wellness Center, and the Rotary Club of Painesville, who are supporting the only emergency homeless shelter in Lake County through their sponsorship of the New Life Fundraising Dinner and Auction!

Learn about how you can support the New Life event by becoming a sponsor, donating to the auction, or attending the event at 6:30 p.m. April 28. Tickets are $40 per person or $300 for a table of 8. For more information, call 440-354-6417.

New Life preparations under way!

Project Hope is excited to announce that classical pianist Francesco Binda will be playing at the 2012 New Life dinner and auction, April 28.

Mr. Binda received his master of music in piano performance at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, and studied with Dr. Mark Clinton. He also holds a diploma in piano performance at the Cleveland Institute of Music under the guidance of Ms. Emanuela Friscioni.

Prior to coming to the United States in 2006, Mr. Binda studied and obtained a diploma at the Conservatorio Arrigo Boito of Parma, Italy. His teachers included Maestro Marco Giovanetti and Maestro Konstantin Bogino. In 1997, Mr. Binda started his official activity as a performer, as a solo pianist and collaborative pianist for Italian institutions and associations. During these years, he participated in national and international competitions, and master classes conducted by Maestro Paolo Bordoni and Aldo Ciccolini. He offers private lessons, and can be reached at francesco.binda@gmail.com.

If you are looking to help during the month of December or throughout the year, we would love to hear from you.

Take a look at our volunteer opportunities on this site and consider how you can help. All volunteers should complete an application, so doing so on our website it a great way to get started.

2010 Annual Report released

2010 was a staggering year for Project Hope, with more individuals than ever receiving help from the only emergency homeless shelter in Lake County. More than 330 individuals, 50 of whom were children, came through the doors. Despite the record-breaking number of overall guests and children, more than half of these shelter guests left for a better quality of life. To learn more about how Project Hope worked to restore hope and renew lives last year, read our 2010 Annual Report.
